Artist, political activist and interpreter forced to flee Russia in 2022. Prior to exile she worked in the field of political activism as well as political art and disability advocacy, while also specializing in educational programs for autistic people focusing on human rights education for the aforementioned groups.
As a political artist she primarily worked with topics of governmental violence, total institutions and isolation in an authoritarian state. After the beginning of full-scale invasion Sasha joined
Feminist Antiwar Resistance.
Since joining Egor Kuroptev’s team in 2022, she has monitored Kremlin narratives in Western and European media, as well as disinformation targeting women and children in Russia.
Sasha has prepared a series of comprehensive reports on propaganda and disinformation targeting the wives and families of Russian mobilized soldiers, as well as on disinformation and military indoctrination in schools and universities, along with other significant articles and materials.
